Bon Jovi is an American rock band formed in 1983 in Sayreville, New Jersey. The band has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide and is one of the best-selling bands in rock history. Their music is known for its sexy themes and rock ‘n’ roll style. Their most recognizable song is “Livin’ on a Prayer,” which was a top-ten hit in multiple countries. Following the band’s acclaimed double-platinum album Keep the Faith, Bon Jovi went on tour and recorded the album These Days in 1994. This was the first time the band had incorporated social commentary into their recordings and it was a huge step forward for them. The songs on the record could have been overwrought but they strike a perfect balance between different genres and styles.
