The group released their fourth album, Uptown Special, in 1986 and its singles “Wanted Dead or Alive” and “Never Say Goodbye” were both huge successes. They toured the world and sold millions of copies.
For their sixth album, Keep the Faith in 1992, the band decided to move away from their hard rock glam roots and create more of a mature sound. The record’s songs reflect a more serious view of life, and the lyrics are less witty and more lyrical.
This left the band with a younger audience and led to them to release several more albums in quick succession. The group’s most recent albums are Bounce (2002) and This Left Feels Right (2004).
They have been touring for the past several years and continue to do so. The current tour is titled “House” and features many of their biggest hits.
The band is rumored to have signed Michael Anthony, ex-Van Halen bassist, to play with them in the future. The band is currently working on a new album but has not revealed the name or release date.
